Those who desire success in their actions worship the gods here, for success born of action comes quickly in the human world.

इस लोक में कर्मों के फल की इच्छा रखने वाले लोग देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं, क्योंकि मनुष्य-लोक में कर्मों से उत्पन्न सिद्धि शीघ्र ही मिल जाती है।
Commentary
Krishna observes, without condemning, why many worship for specific results: such worship brings quick, tangible outcomes. But those outcomes are limited — a theme he develops later (7.20–23).
