अर्जुन उवाच । अथ केन प्रयुक्तोऽयं पापं चरति पूरुषः । अनिच्छन्नपि वार्ष्णेय बलादिव नियोजितः ॥ ३६ ॥
arjuna uvācha atha kena prayukto ’yaṁ pāpaṁ charati pūruṣhaḥ anichchhann api vārṣhṇeya balād iva niyojitaḥ
Translation
Arjun said: Then what drives a person to commit sin, O descendant of Vrishni, even against their will, as if forced?

अर्जुन बोले: हे वार्ष्णेय! तो फिर यह मनुष्य न चाहता हुआ भी बलपूर्वक लगाए हुए की भाँति किससे प्रेरित होकर पाप का आचरण करता है?
Commentary
Arjun asks a question everyone has asked: why do I do things I know are wrong, as if compelled? It shows he is now engaging with the teaching personally, not just defending his position.
