सहयज्ञाः प्रजाः सृष्ट्वा पुरोवाच प्रजापतिः । अनेन प्रसविष्यध्वमेष वोऽस्त्विष्टकामधुक् ॥ १० ॥
saha-yajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛiṣhṭvā purovācha prajāpatiḥ anena prasaviṣhyadhvam eṣha vo ’stviṣhṭa-kāma-dhuk
Translation
In the beginning, the Creator (Prajapati) brought forth beings together with yajna and said: "By this you shall prosper; may this be your wish-fulfilling cow."
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
प्रजापति ब्रह्मा ने सृष्टि के आरंभ में यज्ञ सहित प्रजा को रचकर कहा: "इस यज्ञ द्वारा तुम वृद्धि को प्राप्त हो; यह तुम्हारी इच्छित कामनाएँ पूरी करने वाला हो।"
Commentary
Krishna describes the world as built on mutual giving from the start. Kāmadhuk refers to Kamadhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow — sacrifice, rightly done, sustains everyone. Life is not meant as pure taking.
