For the undisciplined there is no understanding, and no meditation either; without meditation there is no peace, and for one without peace, where is happiness?

Commentary
A chain in reverse: no discipline → no clear understanding → no contemplation → no peace → no happiness. The final question — aśhāntasya kutaḥ sukham, "where is happiness for the restless?" — is one of the Gita's most quoted lines.
