कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः । जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ॥ ५१ ॥
karma-jaṁ buddhi-yuktā hi phalaṁ tyaktvā manīṣhiṇaḥ janma-bandha-vinirmuktāḥ padaṁ gachchhanty-anāmayam
Translation
The wise, endowed with this understanding, giving up the fruits born of action, are freed from the bondage of birth and reach the state beyond all suffering.

बुद्धियुक्त ज्ञानी पुरुष कर्म से उत्पन्न फल को त्यागकर जन्म के बंधन से मुक्त हो जाते हैं और दुख-रहित परम पद को प्राप्त होते हैं।
Commentary
Here Krishna names the final goal of karma yoga: anāmayam padam, the state free from all affliction. Remarkably, it is reached not by leaving the world but by changing one's relationship with action while living fully in it.
