देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा । तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥ १३ ॥
dehino ’smin yathā dehe kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā tathā dehāntara-prāptir dhīras tatra na muhyati
Translation
Just as the embodied self passes through childhood, youth and old age in this body, so it passes into another body. The steady-minded are not bewildered by this.

जैसे देहधारी आत्मा इस शरीर में बचपन, जवानी और बुढ़ापे को प्राप्त होती है, वैसे ही वह दूसरे शरीर को प्राप्त होती है। धीर पुरुष इससे मोहित नहीं होता।
Commentary
A simple, powerful analogy. The child you once were is gone — no cell of that body remains — yet you did not die; "you" continued. Krishna asks Arjun to see death as one more change of the same kind. The wise (dhīra) have understood this and are not shaken by it.
