सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज । अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥ ६६ ॥
sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śharaṇaṁ vraja ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo mokṣhayiṣhyāmi mā śhuchaḥ
Translation
Abandon all varieties of dharma and surrender to Me alone. I will liberate you from all sin — do not grieve.

समस्त धर्मों को त्यागकर केवल मेरी शरण में आ जाओ। मैं तुम्हें समस्त पापों से मुक्त कर दूँगा — शोक मत करो।
Commentary
Known as the charama shloka (the final, culminating verse) of the Gita's teaching, this is Krishna's closing instruction to Arjun before the dialogue ends. After eighteen chapters presenting duty, knowledge, meditation and devotion as paths to liberation, the Gita's last word is unconditional surrender (sharanagati) — not the abandonment of duty itself, but the abandonment of anxious attachment to being the one responsible for the outcome of following it.
