गामाविश्य च भूतानि धारयाम्यहमोजसा । पुष्णामि चौषधीः सर्वाः सोमो भूत्वा रसात्मकः ॥ १३ ॥
gām āviśhya cha bhūtāni dhārayāmy aham ojasā puṣhṇāmi chauṣhadhīḥ sarvāḥ somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ
Translation
Entering the earth, I sustain all beings with My energy; and becoming Soma, the essence of sap, I nourish all plants.

मैं पृथ्वी में प्रवेश करके अपनी शक्ति से सब प्राणियों को धारण करता हूँ, और रसस्वरूप सोम (चंद्रमा) बनकर सब औषधियों (वनस्पतियों) का पोषण करता हूँ।
Commentary
Next, life. God holds up the earth and nourishes plants. In Indian tradition, Soma, linked with the moon, is the life-giving juice that makes plants grow, and folk wisdom holds that herbs are strongest when gathered on moonlit nights. The whole food chain begins in God's own energy.
