सर्वद्वारेषु देहेऽस्मिन्प्रकाश उपजायते । ज्ञानं यदा तदा विद्याद्विवृद्धं सत्त्वमित्युत ॥ ११ ॥

When the light of knowledge shines through all the gates of this body, then know that sattva has grown strong.

Commentary
Verses 11–13 are a practical diagnostic. The "gates" are the senses and the mind. When sattva prevails, perception is clear and the mind is bright and calm; one sees and understands things as they are.
