Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 13, Verse 23

Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga

Translation

One who knows purusha and prakriti along with the gunas in this way is not born again, however they may be living.

Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)

Commentary

Sarvatha vartamano 'pi, "in whatever way one lives," is a remarkable promise. Liberation does not depend on outward circumstances such as monastic robes or a forest retreat. It depends on this inner clarity about what one is and what one is not.
