यो मामजमनादिं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम् । असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥ ३ ॥
yo māmajam anādiṁ cha vetti loka-maheśhvaram asammūḍhaḥ sa martyeṣhu sarva-pāpaiḥ pramuchyate
Translation
One who knows me as unborn, without beginning, and the great Lord of the worlds, is undeluded among mortals and freed from all sins.

जो मुझको अजन्मा, अनादि और लोकों का महान ईश्वर तत्त्व से जानता है, वह मनुष्यों में ज्ञानवान पुरुष संपूर्ण पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है।
Commentary
Knowing God as he really is — unborn, beginningless, supreme — is itself purifying. Right understanding of the Divine clears away confusion and the wrongdoing that comes from it.
