न मे विदुः सुरगणाः प्रभवं न महर्षयः । अहमादिर्हि देवानां महर्षीणां च सर्वशः ॥ २ ॥
na me viduḥ sura-gaṇāḥ prabhavaṁ na maharṣhayaḥ aham ādir hi devānāṁ maharṣhīṇāṁ cha sarvaśhaḥ
Translation
Neither the hosts of gods nor the great sages know my origin; for I am the source of the gods and the great sages in every way.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
मेरी उत्पत्ति को अर्थात् लीला से प्रकट होने को न देवता लोग जानते हैं और न महर्षिजन ही जानते हैं; क्योंकि मैं सब प्रकार से देवताओं और महर्षियों का भी आदि कारण हूँ।
Commentary
No one can know the origin of the Origin. Even the gods and great seers came from him, so they cannot stand outside him to see where he came from.
