पुरोधसां च मुख्यं मां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम् । सेनानीनामहं स्कन्दः सरसामस्मि सागरः ॥ २४ ॥
purodhasāṁ cha mukhyaṁ māṁ viddhi pārtha bṛihaspatim senānīnām ahaṁ skandaḥ sarasām asmi sāgaraḥ
Translation
Of priests, know me to be the chief, Brihaspati, O Parth; of generals I am Skanda; of bodies of water I am the ocean.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
पुरोहितों में मुखिया बृहस्पति मुझको जान। हे पार्थ! मैं सेनापतियों में स्कंद और जलाशयों में समुद्र हूँ।
Commentary
Brihaspati, guru of the gods; Skanda (Kartikeya), the divine commander; the ocean, greatest of waters. In each, God is the peak of its kind.
