Sanjay said: O descendant of Bharat, thus addressed by Gudakesh (Arjun), Hrishikesh drove that finest of chariots into the space between the two armies,

संजय बोले: हे भरतवंशी! गुडाकेश (अर्जुन) के ऐसा कहने पर हृषीकेश ने उस उत्तम रथ को दोनों सेनाओं के बीच में ले जाकर खड़ा किया,
Commentary
Arjun is called Gudakesh, "conqueror of sleep" — a man of discipline and alertness — and Krishna is again Hrishikesh, "master of the senses." The two names set up the dialogue to come: a disciplined warrior about to lose his composure, and the master of every sense who will restore it.
