Commentary
Two names here matter greatly for what follows: Shikhandi, before whom Bhishma will lay down his arms, and Dhrishtadyumna, who will kill Drona. Sanjay lists them without comment, but a listener who knows the Mahabharata hears the whole war foreshadowed.
