प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः । भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात् ॥ ८ ॥
prakṛitiṁ svām avaṣhṭabhya visṛijāmi punaḥ punaḥ bhūta-grāmam imaṁ kṛitsnam avaśhaṁ prakṛiter vaśhāt
Translation
Taking hold of my own nature, I send forth again and again this whole multitude of beings, helpless under the sway of nature.

अपनी प्रकृति को अंगीकार करके स्वभाव के बल से परतंत्र हुए इस संपूर्ण भूत-समुदाय को बार-बार उनके कर्मों के अनुसार रचता हूँ।
Commentary
Beings are "helpless" (avaśham) under nature's laws — bound by karma. God is not; he wields nature rather than being wielded by it.
