न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम् । भूतभृन्न च भूतस्थो ममात्मा भूतभावनः ॥ ५ ॥
na cha mat-sthāni bhūtāni paśhya me yogam aiśhwaram bhūta-bhṛin na cha bhūta-stho mamātmā bhūta-bhāvanaḥ
Translation
And yet beings do not abide in me — behold my divine mystery! Sustaining all beings and not dwelling in them, my Self is the source of all beings.

वे सब भूत मुझमें स्थित नहीं हैं; किंतु मेरी ईश्वरीय योगशक्ति को देख कि भूतों का धारण-पोषण करने वाला और भूतों को उत्पन्न करने वाला भी मेरा आत्मा वास्तव में भूतों में स्थित नहीं है।
Commentary
Paśhya me yogam aiśhvaram — "behold my divine power." Krishna now says even the previous statement is not the whole truth: God is so transcendent that ordinary ideas of "in" and "out" do not apply to him.
