तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च । मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम् ॥ ७ ॥
tasmāt sarveṣhu kāleṣhu mām anusmara yudhya cha mayyarpita-mano-buddhir mām evaiṣhyasyasanśhayam
Translation
Therefore, at all times remember me — and fight. With mind and intellect offered to me, you will surely come to me.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
इसलिए हे अर्जुन! तुम सब समय में निरंतर मेरा स्मरण करो और युद्ध भी करो। इस प्रकार मुझमें अर्पण किए हुए मन-बुद्धि से युक्त होकर तुम निःसंदेह मुझको ही प्राप्त होगे।
Commentary
Mām anusmara yudhya cha — "remember me, and fight." This short phrase unites the whole Gita: continuous remembrance of God together with full engagement in one's duty. It is not one or the other.
