स तया श्रद्धया युक्तस्तस्याराधनमीहते । लभते च ततः कामान्मयैव विहितान्हि तान् ॥ २२ ॥
sa tayā śhraddhayā yuktas tasyārādhanam īhate labhate cha tataḥ kāmān mayaiva vihitān hi tān
Translation
Endowed with that faith, they worship that form and obtain their desires from it — but those benefits are in fact granted by me alone.

वह पुरुष उस श्रद्धा से युक्त होकर उस देवता का पूजन करता है और उस देवता से मेरे द्वारा ही विधान किए हुए उन इच्छित भोगों को निःसंदेह प्राप्त करता है।
Commentary
Whatever answer comes to prayer, through whichever deity, ultimately comes from the one Supreme. The gods are channels; God is the source.
