ज्ञानं तेऽहं सविज्ञानमिदं वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः । यज्ज्ञात्वा नेह भूयोऽन्यज्ज्ञातव्यमवशिष्यते ॥ २ ॥
jñānaṁ te ’haṁ sa-vijñānam idaṁ vakṣhyāmyaśheṣhataḥ yaj jñātvā neha bhūyo ’nyaj jñātavyam-avaśhiṣhyate
Translation
I shall teach you this knowledge in full, together with its realisation; knowing which, nothing more remains to be known here.
Hindi Meaning (हिंदी अर्थ)
मैं तुम्हें यह ज्ञान विज्ञान सहित पूर्णतः कहूँगा, जिसे जानकर इस संसार में फिर और कुछ भी जानने योग्य शेष नहीं रह जाता।
Commentary
Jñāna (knowledge) and vijñāna (realised understanding) together give the chapter its name. The difference is like knowing about honey and tasting it. Krishna offers both.
