न मां कर्माणि लिम्पन्ति न मे कर्मफले स्पृहा । इति मां योऽभिजानाति कर्मभिर्न स बध्यते ॥ १४ ॥
na māṁ karmāṇi limpanti na me karma-phale spṛihā iti māṁ yo ’bhijānāti karmabhir na sa badhyate
Translation
Actions do not taint me, nor do I desire their fruits. One who knows me thus is not bound by actions.

कर्मों के फल में मेरी स्पृहा नहीं है, इसलिए मुझे कर्म लिप्त नहीं करते। जो मुझे इस प्रकार तत्त्व से जान लेता है, वह भी कर्मों से नहीं बँधता।
Commentary
God acts constantly — creating, sustaining — yet is never stained, because he desires nothing from it. Understanding this gives us the model: action without craving does not bind.
